Although they are held the same 3 days, and at the same place, each flight (Boys & Girls) is separate. They each have separate living quarters, separate conference rooms, separate musicians, separate Board Representatives. There is a male Lay Director and Spiritual Director for the boys, and a female Lay Director and Spiritual Director for the girls. Each flight has their own table leaders and assistant table leaders. The boy’s and girls do, however, share the same dinning room at the same time. The clergy talks are shared at the same time for the boy’s and girls, as well as the Marriage talk. All other talks are given separately. Students sign-in on the morning of the first day, and Closing is held in the afternoon of the third day.
Registration Forms need to be in the hands of the Registrar no later than 2 weeks prior to the flight. We need 6 applicants for each gender (or 12 total) in order for these Flights to “take off”. The cost of the flight is $25 per person.
Each "Caterpillar" will need to be sponsored by someone that has been through a Chrysalis Flight or an Emmaus Walk.
